Independent sourcing partner

freight elevator

Freight Elevator Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for US warehouse and plant buyers. We collect rated capacity, car geometry, pit depth, power type, quantity and destination, then request factory wholesale quotes on that written line. We do not manufacture, stock or authorize equipment.

Replace one machine

Write the duty you are replacing: rated capacity with units, platform or car size, lift height, and whether the existing unit is a shaft freight elevator or a free standing freight elevator. Keep the replacement as one family so each factory answers the same capacity basis instead of mixing a dock lift catalog with a passenger car.

Name the doors, landing count and control path you expect. A single-entry car, a through-car and a side-opening landing are different quoted extras. If pit work, hoistway steel and commissioning stay with the buyer, say so. Browse elevator options when the family name is still too wide. Read how units belong on the brief before factories answer.

Check site interfaces

Pit depth, dock height, lowered height and three-phase supply sit next to aisle width when the car serves a warehouse floor or a mezzanine. Floor loading, overhead clearance and seismic design input belong in the brief even when the buyer only wants a machine-only reply.

These markers are buyer checklist steps, not factory certificates or completed-project counts. Public specification pages for this family often list capacity, platform size and travel; copy those unit names into the brief instead of a bare number.

Where the brief usually starts

Application names below are warehouse and plant handling settings. They are inputs for factory matching, not proof that this desk already installed equipment in those buildings.

Request factory quotes on one written line

Share product, quantity, destination and site constraints so several factories can answer the same freight elevator scope.

  • Rated capacity, car size and lift height with units
  • Pit depth or free-standing structure notes
  • Three-phase supply or hydraulic power, quantity and destination
  • Installation, freight and commissioning included only if requested
